Every NRIC and mobile stays masked, even from staff. Reveal one and you see that row only, and the reveal is logged.
Each health answer is marked: a tick if it's clear, a cross if it needs the practitioner. A flagged answer pauses the visit until they clear it.

Rule 14 of the Massage Establishments Rules 2018 says every licensed massage establishment in Singapore must keep a client register. For every client, before the massage or treatment starts, you record their full name, NRIC number (or passport or travel document details for a foreigner), nationality, and the date and time they arrived. You fill it in straight away. When they leave, you add the date and time they left. You keep the register for at least one year after the date of the final entry in it. This covers licensed massage and spa shops, foot reflexology shops and TCM shops. Some premises are exempt from licensing, for example where massage is given only by registered TCM practitioners, or open-concept premises. If that's your shop, Rule 14 doesn't apply, so you shouldn't collect full NRIC numbers.
To fix a mistake, add a new, correct line and leave the original in place, so your register keeps a clear history. Rule 14 also says you must not enter details you know, or have reason to believe, are false. A complete register matters: missing or incomplete client-register entries are an offence under Rule 14 of the Massage Establishments Rules 2018, with a fine of up to S$5,000, or up to S$10,000 and/or up to 2 years' jail for repeat offenders, and the licence can be revoked. registerME timestamps every entry, so your register stays tidy and ready for inspection.
A customer has to give their name, ID or passport number, nationality, and arrival time before you can treat them — you can't skip it, even for a regular. Those details stay in your register for at least a year, and an officer can ask to see it during an inspection.
Yes, if your shop is licensed. Rule 14 of the Massage Establishments Rules 2018 requires it, so you don't need the customer's permission, though it's good practice to tell them why you ask. If your shop is exempt from licensing, Rule 14 doesn't apply, so don't collect full NRIC numbers. Either way, keep the numbers safe: lock them away, let only the staff who need them see them, don't leave them showing on a screen, and don't keep them longer than you have to. Do not photocopy or photograph the IC card. You may write down the number, but don't keep a copy of the card.
At least one year after the date of the final entry in the register (Rule 14). After that, the law says don't hold personal details longer than you need, so clear out or anonymise old records once there's no reason to keep them, for example unless an officer has asked you to hold them. Keeping the register on its own, separate from your other customer lists, makes this easy.
Customers type their own details into a tablet when they arrive, and check out when they leave. The register fills itself in and stamps the date and time on every entry, so you have a clear, timestamped record. ID numbers are encrypted and hidden. A staff member can show one in full for an inspection, and every reveal is logged. By default, a customer's details are kept for at least one year after their last visit, then cleared automatically. You can set a longer period, and you can keep records longer if an officer asks.
